Juliana was born in Siberia, Russia and was raised in a small village of Eastern Ukraine until the age of 10 when she immigrated along with her parents and brother to Vancouver, Canada. From the age of 7, Juliana became deeply involved in Rhythmic Gymnastics which brought her to dedicating the beginning of her years to a full time career in sport.

She was a two-time Canadian National Champion, held both silver and bronze medals in Junior Pan American Games, represented Canada in many world-wide competitions and World Championships. Juliana dedicated her entire teenage years to excelling in Rhythmic Gymnastics. She was part of the Canadian Olympic Development Team which was preparing Juliana for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Through her many years of extreme training and competitions, Juliana’s back injury became too much to bare to complete her goal of 2008 Olympic Games and forced her to retire from her athletic career and focus on regaining her health and well-being.

Her success and injury in professional sport guided Juliana to find healing from the inside out. Beginning at ground zero, Juliana turned to Pilates and Yoga to find strength and healing, and as she entered these two forms of movement and rehabilitations, a new door began to open into the depth of spirituality and her deeper connection to life and purpose.

Juliana has completed many different certifications in personal training, Pilates, and Yoga. She holds her 500 YTT from schools in Costa Rica and India, however she continues to add to those hours of training and certifications through constantly embarking in different courses online and in-person. She has spent time deepening her practice in mindfulness and meditation through her studies in Buddhism in a Tibetan Buddhist Monastery in Nepal, and continues to travel the world to expand her understanding and experience of life and spirituality through different opportunities, friends and healers that she comes across.

Juliana has also recently became a mother to a beautiful boy Xavian Lionheart Spicoluk who has become her greatest teacher, Guru, and spiritual guide of all.
